In our topic 'Walk like an Egyptian', we are learning about where Egypt is, the culture. As part of this we will be learning about the hierarchy of Egypt, the creation of the pyramids and the mummification process.

Tricky spellings to learn:-
Spellings will be handed out every Friday. They will then be tested the following Friday. Please make sure you are learning your spellings as it hugely helps the children in their writing and reading work.

Is Mr Blacker right?

Mr Blacker says that the pyramids in Egypt were built to store food in. Is he right?

This week:

Division and multiplication word problems linked to our times table knowledge.

The mummification process. We had a practical experience of how they did this and will then be writing instructions.

Please don't forget that PE is on a Tuesday and Swimming is on a Thursday. Children will need the correct kit for both to participate.

Please don't forget to bring in your concert letters regarding the trip on the 26th March.
