Parents

At our academy we strive to ensure that parents and carers work in unison with us. We operate an open door policy and ask parents to keep us informed of any thing which is happening outside of the academy which may impact on their child's learning or their social and emotional needs. Staff are always in the playground at the beginning or end of the day, you are also very welcome to make an appointment at any time to meet with your child's teacher, Head of Inclusion (to discuss their special educational needs, attendance) or with the Principal.

We ask parents and carers to ensure that their children arrive at the academy in time to start the learning day. Being late can be upsetting for a child and every minute lost will impact on your child's achievement.

We also ask parents and carers to ensure that their child brings their reading book and reading journal everyday. Together with everything their child needs for the day ahead (PE kits, swimming kits etc).
